Saturday, 22 March 2025 - 01:30 pm to 03:30 pm

We invite you to join our Humans of the Northern Beaches Living Library event, a unique storytelling project that celebrates our shared human experience. Our 'books' are community members with personal stories of overcoming adversity and finding belonging. As 'readers', you can 'borrow' and have a conversation with them.

Come listen and connect with diverse community members from the Northern Beaches. Some of the stories you will hear are about:

  • becoming a cinematographer
  • rebuilding life in Australia
  • using food to connect people
  • growing up Asian on the Northern Beaches

Save the date! More details to come.

This is the second Living Library event. The first Living Library will be held at Tramshed, Narrabeen on Sunday 16 March as part of the Story of Us Intercultural Fair.

The Living Library is part of We Belong, four intercultural community projects for Harmony Week 2025. The projects will bring together different cultures, increase awareness and knowledge of community experiences, and enhance social and cultural inclusion on the Northern Beaches.
