Manly Library Ground Floor is an accessible space for audience and performers.
Performers
Performers must be 16 years and older. If you are younger we host an Under 16s Open Mic each school holidays.
Sign up sheet on the night will be available from 5pm in Manly Library.
We have a small raised stage where we will provide a corded microphone in a stand and an available chair. Backing tracks are available to use via AUX cord.
Performers will have up to 10 minutes on stage so everyone has an opportunity. A bell will ring at the 9 minute mark. Singers have a maximum 2 songs up to 10mins.
The library is a safe, inclusive space for all members of our community and we expect our performers to model these same values in their performances. Please be mindful of the use of swear words. Performers who breach these guidelines will be unplugged.
Audience
This Open Mic Night series is aimed at youth and adults.
All ages are welcome. Parental supervision is required for children as content may include adult themes or coarse language.
The library is a safe, inclusive space and we expect the audience to model these same values in their attendance. Be respectful of the performers on stage and refrain from talking during the performances.
