Lunar New Year is celebrated on the first new moon of the lunar calendar by millions of people across the world, where communities take part in different traditions and festivities to welcome the new year with good fortune. This year, the first new moon will be on Wednesday 29 January.
Write down what you hope to accomplish this year on a wishing paper and hang on the tree to bring luck and good fortune. We welcome wishes in all languages, and drawings of wishes are also encouraged.
