Zines and merchandise will be available to purchase at the stalls. Some stallholders cannot take card payments so we recommend bringing cash.

Drawing your own comic with illustrator Ethan Scotney
11.15am - 12pm.
Create your own comic, learn drawing fundamentals and explore visual storytelling with illustrator and designer Ethan Scotney. Be inspired by the methods used in Ethan’s experimental new comic, Young Man.
Ages 12 to 17 years old
$5 + booking fee. Bookings essential.

Crazy cartoon characters with Rob Feldman
12.45pm - 1.30pm
A fun and fast-paced workshop where kids can create their own wild, wacky and wonderful cartoon people, animals and more! Rob will show how to bring your imagination to the page.
Ages 7 to 12 years old
$5 + booking fee. Bookings essential.

Make your own Wonder Turner
11.15 - 11.30am & 12.45 - 1pm
Create your own old-school optical illusions and make a Wonder Turner. A thaumatrope (Greek word for “wonder turner”) is a spinning toy that tricks the eye - when you spin it fast, two different images seem to become one moving picture.
In this workshop, you’ll learn how this cool visual trick works and create a thaumatrope to take home. Examples and templates and materials will be provided - you just bring your imagination.
