The 2025 Artists’ Book Award winners have been announced!

A biennial competition and exhibition curated by Northern Beaches Library Service, a total of 119 entries were received from artists all over Australia and the world, including New Zealand, Canada, United Kingdom and Japan. 

Using the form or function of a 'book' as inspiration, entries covered a range of themes including flora and fauna, consumerism, travel, as well as colour and shape exploration through artistic mediums such as watercolour, sculpture, painting, drawing, cyanotype and collage.

46 entries were selected for the 2025 Artists’ Book Award exhibition, with 6 books chosen as the overall winners by our judges, Australian artists Wendy Sharpe and Ben Rak.

The 6 winning Artist Books will be acquired by Northern Beaches Library Service as part of our permanent collection.
