Pride Month, held throughout the month of June, is a time to commemorate and celebrate the journey of our LGBTIQ+ community and to advocate for the rights and acceptance of all individuals, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.

Rainbow Macramé Workshops

Various library locations
Learn the art of macramé rainbows and create your own colourful key ring to take home.
For ages 12 - 18 years old.
Pride and Poetry Workshop

Join award-winning queer artist Mohammad Awad for a masterclass in writing poetry that explores themes around identity, community and empowerment. For ages 15 – 25 years.
Zine Creation Workshop
Thursday 11 July, 2 - 4pm
Manly Library
Get creative with your queer and ally friends in this zine making workshop and learn tips on how to create your own zines and world building with artist, imbi. This workshop is open to LGBTQIA+ teenagers and their allies between the ages of 14 - 18.
Women He’s Undressed Documentary Screening

Join us for a screening of Women He’s Undressed, a cinema length documentary that explores the life of prolific Hollywood costume designer Orry-Kelly. Come dressed as your favourite movie star and enjoy a mocktail and some nibbles.
