Don't you hate when the book you've been waiting for becomes available when you're not ready for it? Problem solved! In the Overdrive and Libby app, you can now choose to deliver your holds later and read when it's most convenient for you. 

What does this mean? 

Instead of your hold automatically checking out to you when you may not be ready for it, you will now have a few choices.

When your hold becomes available, a notification from the app will pop up on your device. You can then:

• Borrow the title and start reading or listening! You have a three day period to open up your app and borrow your title, or
• If you're not ready for your hold, you can choose to deliver it later and select a time period when you would like the title delivered to you.

If you forget to borrow your hold during the three days, your hold will automatically be set to deliver later for seven days. After this period, your hold will be active again and you will receive a notification when the next copy is available. 

These changes to the Overdrive and Libby app will give you more control over what you read and when you read it, so you can get around to checking off every book on your to-read list.
