The clients of our Home Library Service recently received their last delivery of the year but these deliveries included a very special gift. 

Each client received a handmade bookmark that were made especially by the Balgowlah Cub Scouts so they could earn their 'Messenger of Peace' badge. 

Our Home Library Service team visited the Cub Scouts to talk to them about the Home Library Service and the difference it makes to people who cannot come to the library themselves and who are often quite isolated. 

The Northern Beaches Library Service would like to send a big thank you to the Balgowlah Cub Scouts for creating such beautiful bookmarks and for sending such heart-warming messages to our clients. 

Their last deliveries also included a Christmas crossword and word search, Christmas cards from the team as well as extra library items to tide them over the Christmas and New Year period.
