Northern Beaches Library members will be able to access Find My Past and Ancestry Library from home, for free, for a limited time.

Please contact our Local Studies Team for instructions and log in details to Find My Past. Please provide your library card number in the email. 

You will have access to:

• Birth and marriage records;
• Military, armed forces and conflict documents;
• Travel and migration documents, and
• Newspapers and periodicals. 

As this is not a personal profile and for privacy reasons, family trees should not be created. If you would like to update family trees, you will need to log in to your own account or register an account with Find My Past. 

To access Ancestry Library, please log into your library account. Once you are logged in, please select 'Home' in the top navigation bar. This will direct you to the link to access Ancestry Library from home. 

Our Local Studies team also have an extensive collection of photographs, maps, subdivisions and documents which you can browse through here.
