The ordinary meetings of the Northern Beaches Council are generally held one Tuesday of each month. Meetings are held at 6pm in the Council Chambers at 725 Pittwater Road, Dee Why 2099. 

An agenda will be available before each meeting and the minutes of the meeting will be available on this website.

Requests to Speak at the Council Meeting

Speaker applications are now full. Any further applications will be placed onto a waitlist.

To apply to speak at the extraordinary Council meeting on Tuesday 28 January please email governance@northernbeaches.nsw.gov.au or call 1300 434 434 with the following information:

 

  1. Contact name, address, phone number and email.
  2. Confirmation if you are speaking as an individual or on behalf of an organisation. If organisation, please advise which organisation.
  3. Whether you are 'for' or 'against' the recommendation on the agenda item and details on the submission.
  4. Whether you are attending in person or would like to have staff read a statement on your behalf.

Please note:

  • As per clause 5.6 of the Code of Meeting Practice, there is a limit of four speakers, two 'for' the recommendation and two 'against the recommendation.
  • If the maximum number of speakers is reached when you apply, your application will be placed on a waitlist.
  • Governance will notify you of the outcome of your application via your method of submission (email or phone).
  • Speakers are limited to three minutes each.
  • The meeting will be recorded and broadcast over the internet.
  • Applications close on Friday 24 January at  5.oopm.
