Now in its fourth year, the Environmental Art & Design Prize continues to bring together artists and designers from across Australia to be part of the conversation on climate change and ideas for a sustainable future. The deadline for submissions is 20 March to 19 May 2024 so don’t miss out.
There are four prizes up for grabs. The visual arts and design winners each receive $20,000. The people choice winner and the young artist/designer winner will each receive $3,000 each.
Artists and designers are invited to submit their works that explore various interpretations and expressions of our relationship with the environment, and their visions of renewal and regeneration through their art and design.
This year’s judges are renowned experts in their field, industrial designer Trent Jansen, visual artist Khaled Sabsabi, and fashion designer Genevieve Smart. Finalists will be announced on 28 May, with the winners announced 1 August 2024.
