Sydney Water is investigating and planning rehabilitation of the Northern Suburbs Ocean Outfall Sewer (NSOOS) tunnel. This may affect residents around the site.

What do I need to know?

A section of Darley Road between Ashburner Street and Cliff Street, Manly will be closed for urgent investigation work. This work will include service locating in the road, non-destructive digging, soil sampling and pothole drilling.

Timing of work

Monday 14 April – Wednesday 16 April, 7am – 6pm
Weather and ground conditions permitting.

Traffic changes

Darley Road will be closed to general traffic between Ashburner Street and Cliff Street while Sydney Water crews are working.

A temporary road detour will be in place during work hours. Detour signage and traffic controllers will be on site to manage traffic. The road will reopen the road at the end of each workday.
