It’s ‘business as usual’ for surrounding businesses while Council completes major pipe repairs in the eastern end of The Corso.
While we’re replacing some 30 meters of collapsed clay pipes with new concrete ones, businesses are still trying to draw in customers.
Fencing is in place to ensure public safety however pedestrians can still walk The Corso and access businesses with a small diversion. So please continue to visit Manly and shop local!
The works will include:
- excavation and replacement of collapsed pipes
- installation of new concrete pipes
- reconstruction of drainage pits.
We’ll also be restoring paving, two water features, drinking bubbler, circular seating pods, electrical works, and palm trees.
Works should be complete by August/September weather permitting.
We apologise for the inconvenience to local businesses and customers while we complete this essential work.
