With 29 off-leash dog parks located across the Northern Beaches, there are plenty of op-paw-tunities for your pup to stretch their legs, catch a ball and get social with other dogs.
Whether you’re looking for a fully fenced park or a place to get wet and cool down, we’ve got you covered with these off-leash destinations.
Remember to keep your dog on a lead in all other areas, be sure to clean up after them, and keep them off the beaches where they are not permitted. Don’t risk a fine!
- Rowland Reserve Dog Park, Bayview
Located on the edge of the Pittwater, your dog can run around on the grassed area, enjoy the beach and have a splash. There’s also seating, a tap and dog waste bag dispensers.
- Flora and Ritchie Roberts Reserve, Curl Curl
Let your dog run free on the grassed area behind the dunes before getting sandy and wet in Curl Curl Lagoon. If your dog still isn’t tired, head across the road to the off-leash park at Adam Street Reserve. For the comfort of other beachgoers - please be mindful of where the dog area ends, keep your pooch off the main beach.
- Lionel Watts Showground, Frenchs Forest
If you and your pooch prefer a dog exercise area with a fence, this is the place for you. The Showground provides a large space for dogs to run and play, while small or shy dogs have the option to use a smaller, fully fenced area next door.
- Hitchcock Park, North Avalon
Located on the north side of the Careel Bay sports field is a fenced area for small or shy dogs, a larger grassed area for dogs that need to stretch their legs, and a tap, picnic shelter and bin for your convenience.
- Hinkler Park, North Manly
Your doggo can run and play on the grass in the large, fenced dog exercise area which also has seating, a tap and dog waste bag dispensers. If your dog loves a splash in the water and a dig in the sand, it’s an easy walk to the nearby Manly Lagoon Park off leash area from here.
