The successful recipients of the 2023/24 Environmental Grants Programs have been announced with $50,000 in funding awarded to 12 projects.
From hands-on creek bank stabilisation works, online solar training, to tree and bush regeneration these worthy grant recipients will deliver direct benefit to our community.
As part of this round, ten projects will receive full funding up to $5000 per project, and two for partial funding for projects beginning in December. All projects are required to be completed by 31 December 2024.

The assessment panel comprised of both internal staff and community representatives with expertise in each field and made recommendations to receive funding.
The priority areas for grant funding in 2023/24 included protection of the natural environment, climate change mitigation and adaptation, reduction in resource consumption such as water, energy and waste generation as well as increasing sustainable behaviours in the community.
