Council elves have been channelling a little North Pole energy and for many of our local villages, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
Our elves sure had their work cut out for them when they installed a towering 8.5 metre Christmas tree on Manly Corso this week, complete with festive decorations and lights.
The tree is the centrepiece of Christmas decorations throughout Manly including large baubles, festive flags and garlands.
Our elves didn’t stop there as they visited town centres up and down the Northern Beaches from Avalon to Collaroy, Forestville to Fairlight, adding festive flair with more decorations and flags.
Our town centres and villages on the Northern Beaches will be the best places to soak up the Christmas spirit when talented local musicians perform for our 12 Days of Christmas music program kicking off from Wednesday 11 December.
As you enjoy the live music, spread some joy by ticking off your Christmas shopping list locally. Supporting local businesses is especially important around big sales like Black Friday and Boxing Day, as smaller shops can struggle to compete with large discounts. By shopping local, you’re not only buying unique gifts but helping keep jobs and spending right here on the Northern Beaches.
With festive decorations and live music filling the air, there will be no where else you would want to stay, shop and celebrate locally.
There will be plenty to do on the Northern Beaches this Christmas with our calendar jam-packed with activities in December. Have a look at what’s on
