Council are in the process of reviewing submissions and preparing the Summary Report of Public Notification which will be available shortly.  

What was proposed?

In response to the public Expressions of Interest campaign conducted, Northern Beaches Council proposes to grant The Burdekin Association a licence agreement for a up to 5 years (with renewal options) for the purpose of extending services offered by Avalon Youth Hub (AYH). AYH provides a range of community services including counselling, case management and outreach support to young people. 

The land is located at 59 Old Barrenjoey Road, Avalon NSW 2017 also known as Part Lot 7 DP 1240400.

Council is owner of the land and the notice is provided was in accordance with Section 47 of the Local Government Act 1993.
