Manly Federation Boardwalk, next to Manly Pavilion, has closed to ensure community safety.

Consultant engineers have advised that the walkway, which Council leases from Transport for NSW, has deteriorated to a poor condition and needs structural repairs.

We’re mindful that this is a popular route for walkers and will install signage around the area to inform the community and visitors. 

The footpath on Commonwealth Parade and West Esplanade is open and easily accessible as an alternative route.

Council is working on a plan to rectify the heritage walkway and bring it back into service and will keep the community updated.
