First it was the heatwave and now it’s the seemingly endless rain - but rain, hail or shine, residents and the broader community are being invited to take advantage of the special events being planned across Northern Beaches Councils six libraries.
Council Deputy General Manager Helen Lever said from decorating Easter eggs to making beads, a lot of thought has been put into creating a fun-filled program of activities over the next month that has something for everyone - especially for children.
“Whether it’s decorating Easter eggs, being amazed by liquid nitrogen or even going to the matinee movies, we’ve prepared an exciting and varied program to entertain the family in April.
“We know the school holidays are a time when parents take the kids to their local library so we’ve put on a whole range of special events, shows and interactive, hands-on activities to keep them entertained,” Ms Lever said.
