A star-studded line-up, a brand new Australian play that’s funny and topical, and production from the Sydney Theatre Company. “‘Talk” is the latest stage show to hit the Glen Street Theatre from 24-27 May.

Created and directed by Jonathan Biggins and starring acclaimed actor John Waters as a radio talkback host, “Talk” explores the world of ‘alternative facts’, social media and the power of the 24 hour news cycle. 

John Behan (John Waters) is a radio talkback host who oversteps the mark and ends up in a whole heap of trouble but refuses to go quietly. Talk” is inspired by topical developments in the news media. Jonathan Biggins has his eyes set squarely on the world of modern journalism, social media and the 24 hour news cycle.

In a world where fake news and alternative facts threaten to trump due process, the questions posed by this powerful play are more urgent than ever.
