On Saturday 22 March 2025 everyone is invited to join residents in transforming Curl Curl Beach reserve. Together, the public can make Curl Curl a cooler, greener and more connected place for our community and wildlife.
Northern Beaches Mayor Sue Heins encouraged the community to come and plant a tree.
“Help us revegetate this important wildlife corridor with native plants.
“We need your help to reach our target of planting 1000 trees.
“This Greening our City initiative is a joint Council and NSW Government project and underscores our commitment to maintaining and enhancing the Northern Beaches’ exceptional tree canopy coverage.
"A vital component of our local environment is our tree canopy. It helps to keep temperatures down, provides important habitat, and is highly valued by our local community,” Mayor Heins said.
