Explore carefully curated stalls offering unique and locally made homewares and accessories with a distinct beaches flavour at Creative Made Market on Sunday 6 May from 10am - 2pm.
Northern Beaches Mayor Michael Regan said the event – now at Glen Street Theatre – had become a destination for contemporary craft and design on the Northern Beaches.
“There’s so much talent on the Northern Beaches and Creative Made is a great avenue for the community to explore and celebrate that.
“Creative Made has proved extremely popular and we’re pleased we can extend its reach to even more of the community,” Mayor Regan said.
Free gift wrapping is available at the event, timed just one week out from Mother’s Day, and visitors can explore around 30 artisan stalls offering unique and locally made wares while enjoying a fun atmosphere and great coffee.
Sonia Brooke & Kelli Stanbury are the founders of local business 9R which will be just one of the eclectic stalls on offer.
9R rescue timber and leather couches from building sites and landfill, and revive them into unique handmade pieces including timber serving boards and leather journals and pencil cases. They said they are thrilled to be involved with Creative Made.
“The Creative Made market is a fantastic opportunity for 9R to showcase our recycled handmade products, while also promoting positive change for the environment,” Kelli said.
Other goods on offer include skincare, upcycled goods, plants, candles, photographic prints, jewellery, ceramics, leather items, stationery and plenty more.
Now in its fourth year, Creative Made has previously been hosted at Creative Space in North Curl Curl but will now cameo at different locations across the Northern Beaches.
