Applications are now open to showcase art, design, and music with the return of Creative Open this winter (25-28 July) to fire up the Northern Beaches with live gigs, exhibitions, talks, gatherings, comedy, markets, performances, and public art. 

Now in its third year the event activates shops, galleries, venues, and open spaces bringing to life precincts across the beaches over the four-day festival. 

Northern Beaches Mayor Sue Heins said last year’s creative event saw 6,000 visitors attend 50 events. 

“I am thrilled to announce the return of this exciting weekend filled with vibrant art and cultural events that will showcase the creativity and talent within our community. 

“This celebration is a testament to the power of the arts in bringing people together, fostering a sense of unity, and enriching our cultural tapestry. 

“If you’re a creative and want to connect with new audiences, promote your business and network with the local community and creative sector, now is the time to apply.” Mayor Heins said. 

This year’s festival will offer the most diverse program yet and will celebrate dynamic visual and performance artists, and live acts.
