Summer Skate Nights presented by Northern Beaches Council and SkaterHQ are back this summer!
Come down for three nights on Friday 18 January, 25 January and 1st February 2019 at North Curl Curl Netball Courts (Abbott Road, North Curl Curl) between 5 – 8pm.
Northern Beaches Mayor Michael Regan said young people of all ages and their families are invited to come down and participate in the fun.
“It's set to be an epic three nights to keep you busy in your holidays! And better yet, it’s free for everyone.
“This is the fourth year we’ve run the event and it’s been hugely successful, with each year getting more and more people in attendance.
“Skating is now a recognised sport in the Olympics and I know we have some amazing local talent who one day may represent our country proudly.” Mayor Regan said.
Skater HQ will provide free professional skate and scooter coaches to assist those who want to learn how to skate or land a new trick.
Other elements of the Summer Skate Nights include live street art, KALOF giveaways , buy a snag and drink to support Curl Curl Brookvale Scouts and enjoy live music from local Headspace DJ.
Water refill stations will be available - just be sure to bring your own re-usable bottle.
This event is free for all ages and helmets are compulsory for all skaters.
