Northern Beaches Council will hold a free information session for businesses interested in becoming more energy efficient and wanting to save on energy bills and reduce their carbon footprint.
The session will be held on Wednesday 14 November (6.30-8.30pm) at the Dee Why RSL club.
Northern Beaches Mayor Michael Regan said rising power bills are a significant cost for business.
“There is no time like the present to discover ways of making your business more energy efficient and to save money at the same time.
“Please come along to the workshop and join other like-minded business people in learning more about how solar power and battery storage can meet your business needs and also discover some energy efficiency tips,” he said.
The energy efficiency seminars are part of Council’s Charge Ahead program, designed to help people save energy in their homes and lower their carbon footprint.
“Charge Ahead is a great example of Council partnering with the community to offer practical and effective tools to help have a positive impact on the environment while also saving money,” Mayor Regan said.
Council works with Our Energy Future, a not-for-profit initiative founded by Southern Sydney Regional Organisation of Councils, to provide these free workshops.
