Northern Beaches, in collaboration with six other Councils, has released their free 2017 Road Safety Calendar and this year it has a retro vibe that everyone will enjoy.
Each month of the calendar features retro or pop art imagery combined with quirky quotes like ‘Drive Politely, Keep it Classy’, ‘Don’t Drive Drowsy – You Snooze, You Lose’ as well as other road safety messages like pedestrian awareness, speed, fatigue and more.
“The Road Safety Calendar started in 2001 and while it has obvious practical appeal, the unique way these important messages are portrayed each year keep it fun, fresh and popular with the community,” said David Kerr, Northern Beaches Council Acting General Manager.
The 2017 Road Safety Calendar also highlights the benefits of mutual respect, tolerance and friendly behaviour for all road users, including drivers, passengers, cyclists, motorcycle riders and pedestrians,
