The HSC year is challenging for most students at the best of times, but COVID restrictions and lockdowns have made this year and last particularly daunting.
As end of year exams approach, Northern Beaches Council has launched a new digital program, HSC Bright, to help students prepare and perform their best.
From Monday 20 September to Friday 15 October, HSC Bright will offer a free four-week online support program for HSC students in a series of information sessions and seminars.
Mayor Regan said it's important HSC students get as much support and assistance as possible, particularly this year.
"We know students preparing for HSC exams are doing it tough at this time, away from classrooms and their teachers.
"HSC Bright will provide plenty of resources and practical tips on everything from managing your health during this important period to specialist speakers on a variety of HSC subjects. As well there are trivia and pop quizzes for that all important down time."
Registrations are open from Monday 6 September and students can register as close to the session start time as they like.
HSC Bright can be accessed via Council's website.
