Northern Beaches Council is encouraging local businesses to put themselves forward for the 2018 Northern Beaches Sustainability Award.

The award, part of the Northern Beaches Local Business Awards, highlights excellence in embedding sustainability practices in business planning, operations and marketing.

Mayor Michael Regan said the Council was very pleased to continue sponsoring the Sustainability Award in particular, and the Local Business Awards in general.

“We believe the Sustainability Award showcases how our local businesses are leading the way in integrating sustainable practices into their businesses.

“Winning this award can be a big boost to a local business, so be sure to get your entry in by the closing date of 28 May,” Mayor Regan said.

The Northern Beaches Local Business Awards honour business excellence and promote and acknowledge the significant contribution of our businesses to the community.

“Supporting awards such as these recognises the importance and diversity of local business and further encourages growth and expansion of commerce and jobs in our area,” Mayor Regan said.
