Northern Beaches Council is proud to announce that Manly Beach, Shelly Beach and the Manly Visitor Information Centre have all been awarded Travellers Choice 2020 rankings by online travel operator Tripadvisor. 

This places them in the top 10% of attractions worldwide, according to Tripadvisor.

Mayor Michael Regan said he was thrilled with the rankings.

“We always knew Manly Beach was world class, and it was nice to get the accolade. Shelly Beach is also amazing and it was great our visitor centre in Manly received such top recognition, when assessed against the world’s best.

“A huge congratulations to all the staff involved in delivering a great service to visitors at the gateway to the Northern Beaches.”

“Travellers’ Choice winners are calculated based on the millions of reviews and opinions collected in a single year from travellers around the world on Tripadvisor," Tripadvisor said.

“The awards take into account the quality and quantity of traveller reviews, and ratings specific to each award category. The hallmark of winners is and will continue to be remarkable service and quality experiences for travellers.”

The Manly Visitor Information Centre provides a comprehensive online and onsite range of information and booking services for Manly and the surrounding area.

The centre, staffed by a friendly helpful team and equipped with online technology for self-service, provides information and advice on the many things to see and do in the Manly area.
