The Labour Day long weekend is set to have jazz fans bopp’n and groov’n, all from the comfort of their own homes.
With COVID-19 crowd restrictions, the annual Manly Jazz Festival will this year go online with a variety of musicians, including locals Morrison Risby Quartet and the Great Gatsby Orchestra.
Recorded performances will be streamed on the Manly Jazz Facebook page.
Mayor Michael Regan said the Manly Jazz festival had become an annual institution on the Northern Beaches entertainment calendar, which now can be enjoyed virtually.
“We have worked hard to present an amazing line-up of artists who will bring some welcome relief and enjoyment to the community that has had to endure a lot of pain and uncertainty in the last few months,” Cr Regan said.
