Northern Beaches Council’s newest Vacation Care centre is opening its doors in Manly Vale, just in time for the upcoming winter school holidays.
Northern Beaches Mayor Michael Regan said the new centre is conveniently located close to public transport and caters for families in the local area.
“Council now has five Vacation Care centres on the Northern Beaches, offering high quality care for children between 5 and 12 years old, during school holidays.”
“Children in our centres can look forward to a stimulating range of art, craft and sports activities as well as exciting excursions,” Mayor Regan said.
Activities in July at the Manly Vale centre include a fishing excursion to the Narrabeen Lake, King Pin bowling, a trip to Disney on Ice, street art tuition, a Party Day and much more.
Bookings for the winter school holidays are now open. The centres operate from Monday to Friday from 7.30am – 6pm during school holidays.
Council’s centres are located at Beacon Hill, Cromer, Curl Curl, Forestville and Manly Vale.
