The community is being asked to help set priorities for the next three years to make the Northern Beaches even better.

So far, more than 2,000 members of our community have provided input to the draft vision and 10-year draft Community Strategic Plan. This plan has identified goals and strategies to establish a blueprint for the future of the Northern Beaches.

Our next step is to identify priorities for the Delivery Program. This will outline what Council plans to deliver over the next three years. To help build this plan, we want to hear what the community’s priorities are across Council’s diverse services.

Mayor Michael Regan said some of the challenges are complex.

“Issues like housing and transport are regularly identified as among the most pressing on the Northern Beaches as housing costs and traffic congestion increase.

“This is a great opportunity for the community to join the conversation to help Council deal with some of the major issues we face. So please do tell us what projects and services you want us to prioritise. Council will be listening to what is important to you. Your input will shape our roadmap for the future,” Mayor Regan said.

There will be five community workshops across the region, in addition to a youth workshop and business event.
