Six local sporting clubs and organisations will receive facility upgrades as part of Northern Beaches Council’s 2019/20 Sport and Recreation Infrastructure Grants program.
Northern Beaches Mayor Michael Regan said the funding helps develop the infrastructure and in turn support the volunteers of our many sporting clubs to encourage participation.
“It is great to be able to allocate funding to three different sports across the six chosen projects.
“We always want to give our local residents different options when it comes to sport, and we all know everyone is different, some like the team environment while others like individual pursuits.
“It is fantastic to be able to support a diversity of sporting interests,’’ the Mayor said.
