We have something extra special planned for the Forestville community this November with a series of free family friendly events at the local shopping area The Centre (between Starkey and Darley Streets, Forestville).

Northern Beaches Mayor Michael Regan is encouraging locals to do something different mid-week while supporting local businesses and enjoying the longer days and warmer evenings.

“Council and local businesses are working together to provide a free, family fun event for all ages.

“You’ll expect to find great business offers such as store discounts and dinner meal specials on offer during the night, live music, outdoor games like giant Jenga, face painting and more.

“Council created this event in direct response to feedback we received from the community through a place score - a survey of what residents believe is most important in a town centre. This showed people in Forestville wanted activities in the evening so we’ve listened and organised this event.”

The event will only run for four weeks from 5:30-8:30pm on Thursday 8, 15, 22, 29 November 2018.

ABC Kids Paradise - 10% off storewide between 5pm-8pm. Up to 50% off selected items

Jetts - Complimentary 15-30 minute fitness sessions for non-members. $0 joining fee for anyone who mentions 'Spring Nights'

Old English Fish N' Chips - $10 dollar Fish, Chips and Calamari meal deal. The meal will include our famous Fish n’ Chips, plus 2 mouth-watering calamari rings plus tarter sauce, lemon and a can of drink (or water)

Forest Brunch Bar - Traditional Greek menu for the event ‘Spring nights on the Greek Islands’

Vintage Cellars - Free in-store wine tasting

Kennedys Boutique - Extended trading hours until 8:30pm

CoccoRocco Deli -  Special Deli Grazing Boards menu, delicious ‘charcuterie’ cold cuts sliced fresh with all the accompaniments.

F45 Forestville – Train for free on Thursday nights during the event. Attend the 5:45pm or 6:45pm class. Make sure you remember to bring a bottle of water and a towel. Must be over 16 years old.

Forestville Library will also be extending its opening hours until 8:30pm every Thursday throughout Spring Nights.
