Northern Beaches Mayor Michael Regan said Taste of the Beaches is back for its second year.
“Following on from the successful introduction of Taste of the Beaches in 2021, Council is proud to host the expanded month-long foodie celebration with the best of the beaches has to offer.
“Due to a hiatus because of COVID-19, we’re pleased to announce Taste of Manly is back after being on hold for two years.
“We are very excited about the line-up and events planned this year with something for everyone.
“From Manly to Palm Beach to Terrey Hills and everywhere in between, the Northern Beaches will be the place to eat, drink and play in May,” Mayor Regan said.
The Palm Beach Wine Garden will be held on Saturday 30 April and Sunday 1 May.
The exclusive cellar door event will showcase a range of wineries alongside local food providers and live entertainment, amongst the backdrop of our beautiful Palm Beach.
Unlike last year, where there were two sessions each day, this year you’ll be able to sit back, relax and soak up the surrounds with your entry valid for the whole event.
The popular Food Truck Party is back at Winnererremy Bay in Mona Vale on Saturday 21 May. There will be a smorgasbord of international food on offer complimented by music and kids activities – a perfect day out for families.
Taste of Manly is a ticketed event and will be held on Manly Oval this year on the 28-29 May to end the month long celebration in style. This year’s focus will be showcasing local food vendors, breweries and distilleries.
This year, Council is supporting 42 businesses across the Northern Beaches through the Taste of the Beaches Grants program. The funding will help awarded businesses to run a food or drink related event in the month of May. Events will include unique taste experiences, taste collaborations with businesses working together, edible education and hands on experiences, plus month-long event programs.
Stay tuned with vendors for all our events to be announced in early April.
