The pinnacle event of Manly’s vibrant food and music scene is just around the corner. The Taste of Manly, now in its 33rd year, will take to the streets on the weekend of 25- 26 May.

‘Fresh – Local – Iconic’ is the theme for this year’s event, which will showcase our best and brightest local restaurants and brewers alongside Australia’s finest wine producers across two music-filled days.

Mayor Michael Regan urged everyone to come along to one of the region’s best ‘foodie’ events, set against the backdrop of picturesque Manly beach. 

“Food lovers of all sorts will be enthralled with the mouth-watering delights on offer at this year’s Taste of Manly.

“We’re proud to showcase a very vibrant line-up of local restaurants, brewers and wine producers.

“There is a great line up of live music across the event with outdoor stages, DJs and buskers to keep you entertained while you sit and enjoy something tasty from one of 21 local restaurants offering traditional Italian, modern Japanese, Swedish, Spanish, authentic Vietnamese, Middle Eastern, French Patisserie, Modern Australian and Mexican.

“Additionally, discover mouth-watering experiences, with over 15 wine and beer stalls from local and boutique wineries and brewers.

“So come along and partake in two great days of food and music set in a top location. It’s unmissable.”

Taste of Manly is free of single-use plastics. The festival also leads the way in delivering best practice in the areas of environmental protection and sustainability.

Guests can purchase their festival glasses from the brewery and wine stands on the day or at the Festival Information Tent. Glasses will be available for $10, with each serve costing $5.

From this year, guests will be able to keep their festival glass and reuse it the following year.

Alternatively, it can be left in one of our collection bins, so it can be cleaned and stored for use in future years!

Visitors are advised that public transport is the easiest way to get to the event. Jump on a ferry from Circular Quay, Watsons Bay or Rose Bay; or head to Manly by bus.

Council carparks in Manly will all be open, although spots will be in high demand. There is also a free Council 'Hop, Skip & Jump' bus operating in the local area.

Please note there will be a road closure in place between 3pm, Friday 24 May until 7am Monday 27 May between the intersections of South Steyne/Wentworth Street and North Steyne/Raglan Street.

There will also be restricted access to the public carpark on Central Ave (Central Ave residents excepted) on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 May, 11 am – 6pm.
