Northern Beaches Council's friendship with the Tadaoka Town Government in Japan provides two local marathon runners with a chance to participate in the marathon to be held in Tadaoka on 17 February 2019.

It's an exciting opportunity for entrants who must be Northern Beaches residents, aged 18 and over.

Return airfares from Sydney to Osaka are paid for, along with the costs of accommodation in Japan. The period entrants would be away is from 14-19 February 2019.

Participants are required to have run at least one marathon before and to be Australian citizens.

Applications close 5pm, Monday 10 December 2018.
