As part of the Freshwater Beach Masterplan, a new accessible toilet and shower block is proposed to better serve the community and visitors. The new facility would be relocated from the Freshwater Surf Life Saving Club to a dedicated spot at the northern end of the reserve, near the new playground.
The new modern and accessible facilities, complete with accessible showers and toilets, a family change room, and unisex handwashing facilities, will improve accessibility and convenience for all beachgoers and those visiting the park, enhancing the overall experience at Freshwater Beach for everyone.
Freshwater Beach is one of the most popular destinations across the Northern Beaches, attracting thousands of visitors who rely on convenient public amenities.
Freshwater Beach’s newly renovated playground, complete with shade sails, seating, improved landscaping, is due for completion by November 2024, and will complement the extensive landscaping improvements recently introduced throughout the Freshwater Beach Reserve precinct.
We encourage the community to review the proposed concept plan for the new Freshwater Beach Amenities Building and share their feedback.
