Australians have been given a public holiday on Thursday 22 September for a National Day of Mourning for Her Majesty the Queen.

Remember that our operating hours for our services and facilities like our libraries and swimming pools will change slightly.

Customer Service Centres
Our customer service centres in Manly, Dee Why, Mona Vale and Avalon will be closed. You can still call us on 1300 434 434 to report urgent issues.

Library services
All Northern Beaches Council library branches including the community libraries will be closed.

Swimming pools
Warringah Aquatic Centre will be open from 7am to 6pm. There will be no Aqua and Deep Water classes, SwimFit or Learn to Swim. 
Manly Andrew Boy Charlton Aquatic Cente will be open from 6am to 7pm. There will be no Aqua and Fitness classes, Squad or Learn to Swim. 

Glen Street Theatre
Glen Street Theatre will be closed. Tickets will still be available to purchase online.

Beach patrols
Freshwater, Dee Why and Manly Beach will be open and patrolled as normal. All our other beaches up and down the coastline will see the red and yellow flags from 24 September.

Coastal Environment Centres
Manly Environment Centre and our Coastal Environmental Centre at North Narrabeen will be closed.

Bushcare Volunteers
Our Bushcare volunteer groups will not be meeting.
