Council is delighted to announce the winners of this year’s Northern Composure Unplugged.

Unplugged is an acoustic competition for Northern Beaches musicians aged 12-24, now in its fifth year, after a break due to COVID.

This music comp offers acoustic performers local exposure as well as invaluable stage experience.

Each finalist made their way through a series of online and live heats throughout April in recognition of Youth Week.

The skills and the talent shown by each of the contestants and finalists throughout the competition has been impressive.

Council is proud to continue its support of our local young musicians and help them gain much needed experience and express their creativity.

Three judges, from 7th Day Brewery, Perfect Pitch and Council’s Youth Advisory Group, considered each performance for 5 criteria: musicianship, stage presence, audience appeal, originality and conduct.
