Our dedicated educators at Belrose Children’s Centre have been recognised as going above and beyond in their education and care of local children, receiving the highest honour in the national scheme.
Belrose Children’s Centre has been rated by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) as ‘Excellent’, which is the highest and most difficult rating to achieve.
Council’s other children’s services have also been recognised for their outstanding service, with Family Day Care, Dee Why Children’s Centre, Brookvale Children’s Centre, Brookvale Occasional Care, Cromer Vacation Care, Manly Community Pre-school and Harbour View Children’s Centre each being rated as Exceeding the National Quality Standard (NQS).
Congratulations to all our educators for your hard work, dedication and enthusiasm for early childhood education!
Belrose Children’s Centre justly deserves the highest accolade for their work in enriching the lives of local children and their families. The team have introduced several innovative and amazing programs for the children, their parents and the local community including an impressive program on anti-bias and social justice.
A deeper understanding of anti-bias has helped the educators better support the wellbeing and inclusion of the attending children and create cultural change within the local community.
It was such a success the team leaders were invited to present their activities and results to the Social Justice in Early Childhood, helping other educators to introduce the program at their centres.
