This is a small to medium shrub which grows up to 2m wide and high.

The plant has an open, white daisy flower head which occurs in spring and early summer.

It prefers moist soils with moderate drainage, and grows best in sun or light shade.

Olearia tomentosa attracts bees, butterflies and other insects.
