Learn about geometric abstraction in this activity and work with basic shapes, colour and line to create artworks.
Geometric abstraction is a type of abstract art. Abstract art does not represent images of our everyday world in the way they usually appear. Instead, abstract artworks use colour, line and shapes to create works that may be interpretations of our everyday (eg. people, animals, places) or an artist’s feelings or creative ideas.
