Blue Gum Reserve is a small reserve in Frenchs Forest which contains Sydney Coastal Dry Sclerophyll Forest. Also known as Peppermint-Angophora Forest, this is an open forest system in which the main tree species are Sydney Red Gum and Sydney Peppermint. This reserve is potential habitat for Powerful Owls and other important woodland bird species.
