Clontarf Reserve is located on the Middle Harbour foreshore and can be accessed via Sandy Bay Road. This reserve includes a playground, cafe, BBQ areas and picnic tables. The reserve is a popular recreational area and can be very busy on weekends and holidays, particular on lovely sunny days.
The reserve adjoins Clontarf Beach and includes a tidal pool. Please be aware that this beach is not patrolled by lifeguards.
The reserve is also one of Council's Dog Off-leash Areas and is unfenced.
Off-leash Hours and Information

Dogs are permitted off-leash weekdays (Monday - Friday) outside of school holidays.

Saturdays, Sundays, school holidays and public holidays dogs are permitted off-leash:

6pm - 10am non-daylight saving time
- 8pm - 10am daylight saving time

Outside of these times dogs must be on-leash.

Dogs are prohibited on Clontarf Beach and in the tidal pool.

Dogs are prohibited within 10 metres of the playground. Please be mindful that this playground is very busy particularly on weekends and holidays.
