The Jean Hay AM playground is located on North Steyne Reserve opposite 66-68 North Steyne. It is open all year round and includes a Liberty Swing for wheelchair users, pod swing, play structure with slides and an accessible carousel.

There is ample seating including a picnic table. Public toilets are located 300m north at the North Steyne Surf Lifesaving Club building. 

Parking is available along the beachfront, local streets or nearby in the Council carpark - Pacific waves, Central Avenue, Manly. Please check the parking restrictions. 

This playground was named the Jean Hay AM Playground in recognition of  contributions of Jean Hay AM, a former Mayor of Manly Council. The naming ceremony and plaque unveiling took place on Monday 25 November 2024. Please refer to the media release for further information.
