Evie started sailing at the age of 8 and her enthusiasm for the sport quickly led her to competing internationally. 
Career highlights include: 

• Silver at the 2022 Youth World Championships held at The Hague
• Gold at the 2023 ILCA 6 Women’s Pacific Games, Solomon Islands 
• Silver at the 2024 under 21 ILCA 6 World Championships, Portugal 

For her efforts in the sport, she has been awarded: 

• 2022 Australian Youth Sailor of the Year 
• 2023 Sport Australia Hall of Fame inductee
• 2023 Northern Beaches Sportsperson of the Year

Evie grew up on the Northern Beaches and is a member of Manly Yacht Club
