The Northern Beaches Council manages both the Manly and Mona Vale Cemeteries. Mona Vale Cemetery has both burial sites and Ashes memorials available while the historic Manly Cemetery offers memorial sites only. In-ground burials at Manly Cemetery still occur in plots that were reserved some years ago.

Manly Cemetery

Manly Cemetery is an historic site. It is one of Sydney’s oldest cemeteries and it is still in use.

An elderly person with a blurred face sits on a wooden bench in a park, wearing a black and white patterned top, black pants, and black shoes. A black bag rests on the left side of the bench. The background features trees, bushes, and large rocks, with gravel or sand covering the ground.

Volunteer at the cemeteries

Volunteering has many benefits. As you give back to the community, you might also find purpose, make friends, learn new skills and so much more.
