Rachel Lack

Softball

Rachel first represented Australia as a junior in 2013, with the team winning bronze in the Junior Women’s Softball World Championship. She then went on to win bronze in the Open Women’s Softball World Championship in 2014 in the Netherlands.

A further highlight of her career was competing as part of the Australian Women’s Softball team, Aussie Spirit, in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Rachel has earned many awards during her softball career including School Sport Austral Softball Most Valuable Player (MVP) 2012, The Hugh Southward True Spirit Award, Softball Australia Junior Female Athlete of the year (Junior World Championship) and U19s Women’s National Softball Championship MVP, 2013. At the Australian National Championships, she received the Rosemary Adey Medal Rookie of the year in 2014, the Midge Nelson MVP in 2019 and Player of the Grand Final in 2019 and 2020.

As at 2024 Rachel continues to play Softball at a national level.
