Ruby was selected to represent Australia in Skateboarding at the Paris 2024 Olympics. She placed 11th in the Women's Skateboarding Park event. Prior to the Olympics she competed in skateboarding tournaments around the world.

Ruby started skateboarding when she was 5 years old, and at 10 she claimed the silver medal in the women's vert contest at the World Roller Championships in Barcelona, Spain, 2019. She went on to finish 10th at the 2022 Park Skateboarding World Championships in Sharjah, UAE and won the silver medal in the 2023 World Skateboarding Pro Tour event in San Juan, Argentina.
